Inspired by a childhood spent in the breathtaking Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota,
Rough-N-It was established to share a similar, life-changing experience with Disabled Veterans and their families. This unique setting is specifically designed to bring this experience of peace to others.
While the strenuous aspects of a traditional wilderness trip may not appeal to everyone, Rough-N-It recognized the restorative power of a remote natural setting. They created a unique camping experience on beautiful Lake Vermilion that provides the same benefits without the significant time, hard work, or expense.
The ready-to-go campsites offer over 40 acres of untouched lakefront property in the heart of Northern Minnesota. This pristine environment provides a profound sense of tranquility, allowing the natural surroundings to bring a much-needed inner peace often missing from daily life. Rough-N-It blends the full outdoor experience with ease and comfort.
